stinky dinners and chubby babies

Matthew had a well child check up this morning. He received 3 immunization shots. He is so brave when getting poked with needles, actually I think he giggled once...then cried. He weighed in at a hefty 18 lbs 15 oz and 27 3/4" long (tall?). This puts him at 50% for weight (a decrease from 75% 2 months ago) and 75% for height. His motor skills are perfect as he grabbed the doctors hair, glasses, and stethoscope. I warned her but no one listens to me...

We had the missionaries over for dinner. I made Alfredo chicken in the crock pot over fettuccine noodles. The main dish consisted of chicken breasts, a jar of Alfredo sauce, roasted red peppers, sliced mushrooms, and broccoli. I opened the lid to the crock pot to stir it. I know broccoli STINKS! Cooked, raw, after a week in the fridge, sitting out in the trashcan, it makes no difference. Sometimes I wonder HOW I eat that stuff.  Anyway, the not so sweet smelling aroma must of hit Olivia's nose because she yells from the living room, "What is THAT smell? It smells like POOP!" Sisters, sorry your dinner smells like poop. BUT it was delicious and all the kids ate it.
