I'm almost done painting the doors black in the hallway. I have one door left. I have replaced the brass (and one chrome) door knobs to nickel to match the rest of the fixtures. I like how I have taken a normally forgotten, uninteresting space and gave it personality.

I am searching (thrift store searching that is) for some art work to break up the long wall of stripes. I realized when the doors are open, I can see the brass hinges. It looks like another trip to Lowes is in my future. Who would of thought the "we should paint the hallway" suggestion could turn into this?
