Cara has to write sentences for her spelling words each week. Usually, there are a few words she needs help forming into a sentence, mostly because she doesn't know what the word means. Cara asked me a sentence for "determind". (deter rhymes with jeter) I have no idea. I tell her to use the dictionary and tell me the definition. She can't find the dictionary. So because I'm such a great Mom (see previous post) I get on Dictionary.com and ask her to spell the word. D-E-T-E-R-M-I-N-E-D. What? You mean determined? (pronounce correctly) Pshh. Determind....
